According to the band itself: “Inner Tide, Maré Interior in direct translation, addresses the life experiences that put our strength to the test, when we, as individuals, cannot choose what to live, but it is life itself that decides for us. (Losing someone, deprivation of liberty, separations) So the individual goes on to question what he really has control over, only to realize that the only thing he can control is the decision of how he is going to handle this tribulation.”

A message that makes us reflect on the challenges we face daily. Obstacles may arise and we have no control over them, but we can decide how we will react to these situations, losing strength and hope, letting ourselves be shaken, or fighting and seeking strength to face challenges, finding ways to solve and win.

The single Inner Tide:

The song opens grandly, with choir and heavy instrumentals. And thinking about the message that the song brings, the fast and encouraging sound makes perfect sense, since the loud sound with the classic and heavy elements lift our energy, with dense atmosphere, creating a powerful melody.

Julieta Rui Seco’s vocals are clean and strong, with high and high notes. Mixing between the chest and lyrical vocals, but much less lyrical here, not having many operatic soprano passages.

To add weight and energy, the male guttural vocals enter, raising the level of the song.

Inner Tide is fast, heavy and has all the symphonic metal we love. A mix of modern metal with classic elements. There are quick moments when you can feel the guitar and drums very well, making you shake your skeleton and want to bang your head to the rhythm. Definitely a hard song to get sick of.

The single will be accompanied by a video clip, very well produced, of high level, with choreography and models that handle swords and fire sticks, transforming the scene into a theatrical show. While the floor is filled with water. The singer performs the song in the video, singing, dancing and acting, while the musicians leave nothing to be desired. Be sure to check out the video tomorrow, February 3rd.

After listening to the single, the energy we feel is one of strength. Kalad manages to convey to us the sensations he seeks through music, being without a doubt a great promise of success.
